Psalm 127:1-2, “Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. 2 It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil; for He gives to His beloved sleep.”

1. How does this verse challenge you and your ideas of how you build and protect any area of your life, whether it be family, marriage, career or church?

2. Share an example of a time when you have found yourself worried about the cares of this life and what you did to stop worrying.

3. Pastor Paul said Psalm 127:1-2 screams to every individual to recognize their dependence on God in three areas, success, security and serenity. What is something practical that you are going to do to trust God more fully in these three areas?
